Hi,
Really, strange just received an e-mail from PayPal saying:
"The billing agreement that allowed Spotify AB to make the payment for your booking has been cancelled.
Description: 30 day of recurring Spotify Premium
Manage your Billing Agreement by logging into your PayPal account and clicking the Billing Agreement link under your Profile. In your Profile, you can choose and edit your preferred funding source and cancel your Billing Agreement."
Seemed strange and fishy, so I logged in separately and my Spotify subscription is still there, payment methods all valid etc. The e-mail itself looks legit too - any ideas?

Hello everyone!
Thank you for reaching out on our Community Forum. I can certainly understand how this kind of unexpected notification can be a bit concerning. If you receive an email that you're unsure is from PayPal, I'd recommend reviewing the tips in this following Help Center article on How to spot a fake, fraudulent, or phishing email or site.
If you're ever concerned there's an unauthorized billing agreement or subscription on an account, here's how to check your Active subscriptions and recurring payments.
I hope that helps. Best wishes to you all!

@PayPal_JonK, have you even read the thread? Or did you just splash a generic "you've been scammed" template?
- The message is from PayPal. It is not fake, fraudulent or phishing.
- The message is not about unauthorized subscription to a new service.
- The message is about unauthorized cancellation of a service that is not reflected by the actual service state. Here people's experience diverges - some did not have the service that was cancelled, some did have, but despite cancellation the service is still active (that's my case).
- There's a hint that the mail might refer to a long forgotten dormant subscription in the past. I can confirm that in my case I indeed had old, inactive Spotify subscription, different from the current, active one.
- While I might have been the case #4, one thing does not match: there was a change in the active subscription - credit card association was removed, leaving only a payment from PayPal balance, which in my case was always 0 - and thus would break my subscription on the next payment.

I got it too. But not spotify, but Epic Games. The reason is: "Cancelled in Payment". Someone have a answer or solution? I didn´t use Fortnite or Epic Games since 2 years, maybe it is not so important for me, but a answer would be nice.
