@PayPal_JonK, have you even read the thread? Or did you just splash a generic "you've been scammed" template? The message is from PayPal. It is not fake, fraudulent or phishing. The message is not about unauthorized subscription to a new service. The message is about unauthorized cancellation of a service that is not reflected by the actual service state. Here people's experience diverges - some did not have the service that was cancelled, some did have, but despite cancellation the service is still active (that's my case). There's a hint that the mail might refer to a long forgotten dormant subscription in the past. I can confirm that in my case I indeed had old, inactive Spotify subscription, different from the current, active one. While I might have been the case #4, one thing does not match: there was a change in the active subscription - credit card association was removed, leaving only a payment from PayPal balance, which in my case was always 0 - and thus would break my subscription on the next payment.
