Direct Debit says Successful on PayPal but not debited account

Hi,
I set up a direct debit for my phone bill and first payment was due 30th of June. I was away unitl the 1st of July and never noticed any money being taken out my Monzo account which is where the direct debit has been set up. However, when i go to my PayPal direct debit page it says i was charged on the 30th like normal and says successful but when i go into my banking app there is no transaction there whatsoever. I manually paid it again as i thought it didnt pay it but that transaction went through and actualy debited my account. I tried using the contact on Paypal but it was useless and they didnt see my message for over 24hrs.

Transfers from bank accounts are never instant, that is why when you buy something Paypal credit the seller upfront for you and Paypal take the wait for the funds to transfer to pay them back again.
Takes 5-7 working days to transfer as Paypal use the slowest (cheapest) transfer option BUT funds normally leave your bank account from a few hours up to a few days later.
Advice is voluntary.
