Deposit rejects yet still taken out of PayPal balance

Hey all I’ve deposited $232 via PayPal into a Sportsbook account that I’ve done several hundred times before. This one however was rejected by the Sportsbook however PayPal still took it out of my balance. The Sportsbook has not seen the funds on their end and I’ve contacted them several times saying that PayPal will likely error out and the funds will return. However I’ve tried numerous times to get in contact with PayPal and nobody is answering and the chat agents close my chat without ever giving an explanation, I tried to dispute the charge too and PayPal closed it with no reasoning provided to me. Just a little stuck on where to go next to get my $ back.

If it doesn't auto reverse in the next few days then contact customer services?

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?

Thanks so much for the response and the suggestions. If it hasn’t resolved itself in a few days then I’ll definitely try the avenues you mentioned.
