can't receive payment from one particular user

Someone is trying to send me money and for some reason my username, email, phone, and PayPal link don't work for them / don't show up when they search. What would cause this? I've never experienced this before with anyone else who's tried to pay me. They said it's the first time it's happened for them too.

I would advise you to contact the sender of the payment to ensure they are sending it to the correct email address.

They did confirm the email address and sent me screenshots to show that the username couldn't be found.
