Transfer type "for friends and family". Do you know if it is possible at all from India to Europe?

I would like to receive money for a shared present from a friend in India. I am in Europe. He does not see the option to transfer chose between "for Goods and Services" and "for friends and family". Do you know if it is possible at all from India?

Sadly not, India is not one of the countries that has the friends/family option.

Maybe look at xoom instead?
