Cannot add Rakuten Bank Account

I cannot add my Rakuten bank account to Paypal.

 

I am a foreigner living in Japan with a Japanese Paypal account. I need to write my name in kana when entering the bank information on Paypal. I did this once successfully by using my phone.

 

However, I tried a transfer, and it was unsuccessful. Paypal removed the bank account.

 

Now I cannot re-add my Rakuten bank account. I've tried about 25 times. I was successful once but now I can't add it again. Why? I just get the message "Try again later." I've tried every day.

You may have to ask customer services to link it for you.

If you added it and then it was removed was it because you didn't confirm it?

 

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
