Things don’t appear to be working at the moment.

Two of my clients tried to make payments through PayPal, which is a link provided on the statements I send out. They both get this message:

Things don’t appear to be working at the moment.

I have used PayPal for years in this same manner. What is suddenly causing this, and how do I rectify it?

I see you're having issues receiving money from your clients. There could be several reasons why a payment could be stopped. Please check if there are any limitations placed on your account and try to resolve them. Also, make sure your email, phone number, and the account are verified. Try to send them an invoice or ask them to use your PayPal email to send the money. If they still face issues, it is possible that there could be issues on their end as well. You can contact PayPal support directly so that they can look into your account to see if there are any issues.
