My direct deposit stimulus payment is being held and PayPal keeps telling me I have sucessfully updated the tracking information and funds will be available when delivery is confirmed. Im so glad I used PayPal to **bleep** me over in a time of need. There's kids that get to starve for the next 21 days until the payment clears. This is ridiculous of PayPal to make me choose which of my family get to eat. I cant change the tracking information and hell if the IRS is going to confirm delivery. I'm suing PayPal. There is more to this than just my money.

Your own help center says you can make an account to claim the stimulus payment sent from the IRS. I made an account and entered the information into the irs portal. every day up until today the portal said i had provided them my direct deposit information. Today however the IRS website claims they are going to mail the check to the address on file and their FAQ suggests it's on your end. I followed every step under the help section and now I'm broke and **bleep** for weeks THANKS PAYPAL!

PS your captcha failed and wasted even more of my time what a bad service.

I used the IRS get my payment tool to add the routing and account number from my Paypal on the 15th to have the stimulus deposited into my account. From the 15th until today the IRS tool said the payment would be DIRECT DEPOSITED into my Paypal account. Today the status on the IRS get my payment tool changed from "direct depositing into my Paypal account" to "they will be mailing me a physical check next week." The IRS FAQ says "It is possible that we do not have the correct bank account information for you, or your financial institution rejected the direct deposit. In either case, your payment will be mailed to the address we have on file for you." I'm positive I double and triple checked both the routing and account number when entering the information into the IRS get my payment tool. I never received any information from Paypal regarding the stimulus but I followed all the instructions on the Paypal help tool and the IRS website suggests the problem lies on Paypals end. Now that it's failed "Get My Payment will not allow you to change your bank information once your payment has been processed. No action is needed to contact the IRS as phone assistors won’t be able to change your bank information either." per the FAQ so I have to wait now.

I've spent two days trying to resolve this via their chat and they are closing my chats with no solutions. Hands down the worst customer service DONT USE PAYPAL.

You will probably still have ur check before anyone on here gets their direct deposit. I wish I would have gone the check route

I did the same damn thing on the 1st checking the irs portal after getting nowhere with paypal ....my payment was supposed to be the 29th and has been sent via check for rejection of funds...i was even nice enough to obtain a trace identification so they could see if it was anywhere there....nope kept getting **bleep** answers except for one nice lady that told me how the deposits work that its automated... now I have late fees for rent I don't have and might get evicted over it....i should've used chime or green dot atleast they communicate with their customers
