Sending an invoice for online classes. Not selling an item or product. Will I be charged any fees?

I want to send someone an invoice for online classes. I am not selling her an item or product. I would just like to send her an invoice to pay me for my services of teaching her online. Can I do this? If so, how do I do it and will I be charged any fees?
