I sent money to my kids via PayPal and they don't know how to retrieve. How can I get the money back?

How did you send the funds ie which paypal option + what does it say on the transaction in your paypal account?
Sent as a gift, via my debit card.

I'm not certain that I'm understanding the question but it was sent through regular PayPal not through my PayPal credit. Hope that makes sense.
