I sent funds to someone using goods/services and they immediately refunded the funds—Within seconds—because they were requiring friends/family transaction. My bank debited the original transaction but the refund just says pending in my PayPal account. It has been 5 days. Another note: I did not resend as friends/family transaction in fear of the sell being a scam. Any ideas on why or when this would be refunded?
The recipient refunded before the outgoing transfer completed so you’ll have to wait several days all told for the money to end up back in your bank account. PayPal has to get money first and then route it back.
