Paypal not accepting orders / Authorization failure

Hello,

I am having Steam account where I have my Paypal added there and using it for purchases. I have used it for years now. I have my Revolut virtual card added in Paypal to use for payment. Now I want to make another purchase in Steam but it gives me the below error:

Your purchase has not been completed.
The payment processor has reported an authorization failure. Please select a different payment method.

I noticed that other services where I use my Paypal account to process the orders are being declined too. My Revolut is having enough money and all seems working fine with the virtual card. It seems to be with Paypal, any ideas?

I have the same problem, every vendor declines my paypal account. It all started since paypal updated their policy, but i have no idea what exactly is the issue.

Sorry to hear that you're not able to make payments using your PayPal account. There are some cards that are not compatible with PayPal system which includes most online/virtual cards. Also, PayPal system may block the activity temporarily if it deems a possible risk. If you see repeated payment declines, you can try to complete the payment with a different payment method. If the issue persists, please reach out to the PayPal Support team for additional assistance.
