So I've included my Ko-fi link within a completely free resource I made to allow users to donate whatever they'd like with no incentive to do so.
I received my first donation of $10, and PayPal takes a dollar for themselves.
They aren't purchasing anything, and I'm not providing a service. This isn't a commercial payment, so why is the fee so unbelievably high?
I could just use paypal.me -- I will in the meantime, but the question still stands. It's an outrageous percentage for a donation and frankly disgusting.
It's starting to feel like PayPal is on the descent from grace by being greedy.

Paypal charges you a fee for providing you with the option to receive payments from other paypal accounts for goods OR services.
Paypals fees are in the user agreement for your country.
