PayPal received amount on hold

Hello. This is a question regarding a hold on one of the payments I've received. The payment has nothing to do with selling or buying a product and merely an amount of money sent to me. However, I've received a notification that the amount is on hold due to some reasons.

 

Some of them being:

1. the account is new (even though it's been a while since I've created it)

2. It's a business account and there has been some suspicious activity going on (even though it's my personal account and I didn't sell or buy an item)

3. the apparent solution to this problem is either wait out the hold for a whole 21 days (which is quite an inconvenience) or I add a tracking information (which is actually for sellers/buyers) and I would receive my money within 1 day/24 hrs if I did include some sort of tracking info (which I did).

 

 

Seeing as it has been 24 hours and I haven't received the amount sent to me, I'm having a problem which requires immediate attention considering I'm in need of the money in the next few days. It would be of great help if I could be contacted immediately in this regard or be given any solutions that may be as convenient for me as possible without me having to wait a whole 21 days.

If the payment was sent using goods/services then it would be viewed as a payment and the new seller hold applied.

If it was a friend or family member then they should have used the friends/family payment option but only ''if'' that option is available in your country (hard to advise on that as you haven't added your country to your community profile).

Is there any way to lift the new seller hold? Or any way to change the form of payment to family/friends without having to refund? 

Currently residing in Saudi Arabia. Hopefully that opens up more options to advise on.

Unfortunately the friends/family option is not available on Saudi Arabia registered paypal accounts.
