PayPal Problems

I guess those who use PayPal "successfully" you have to be a government official or something.

I have never known a "company" in this case a "rogue" company to move

their own goalposts as much as PayPal.

They tell me "you have money" - more like the "illusion" try to get the money?

Hahahaha! You are having a laugh... now it's "on hold" for... I don't know. I found

out... I have to update transaction and other information and I have done it about

3 times a DAY to release the money. No joy. I got the "illusion" of the money on

Oct 1st and apparently I cannot have it until October 24th! WHAT?!?! WHY????

And to add insult... the only thing on here that works is a stupid AI machine that

tells me to do things I have already done. It took me about 40 minutes to get this

far. I "attempted" to fill-out a complaint form. I even painstakingly took screenshots.

I went to "send" - ERROR

I nearly threw my computer out the window!!!!!!!!!!!

MY SOLICITOR WILL BE TAKING OVER THIS NOW. PAYPAL WILL BE GOING TO COURT!!!!!!!!!!!

******Original Complaint******

Absolutely appalling service. Every help option has an "error" message. Resolution centre refuses to gave me a resolution.
live chat "robot" makes fun of me and tells me to "update tracking info" - I HAVE DONE THAT MULTIPLE TIMES.

PayPal continue to "move the goal posts" whenever they please. PayPal never tells me WHY a payment is on "hold"
and make up the timescale as they go along.

It took me about half an hour of "hoop jumping" to get this far. Error messages and refusal to offer me ANY ASSISTANCE.

I am getting my solicitor onto this and he will be in contact shortly as PayPal are acting illegally and going
AGAINST their own terms.

You’re aware that after you add tracking, PayPal will only release the money 1 day after delivery, right? PayPal has to be able to check for delivered status with the shipping carrier.

You also have the option to ask buyer to confirm receipt 48 hrs later from updating tracking or order status:

Here's how to confirm you've received an item:

  1. Click Activity at the top of the page.
  2. Find and click the original payment for the item.
  3. Click Confirm receipt.
  4. Click Yes to confirm that you received the order.

***Not all purchases require receipt confirmation.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Well unfortunately I tried that already. I thought I mentioned that on the post. Nobody has bought anything. It’s a donation. I’m sorry but this is just super confusing and pointless. But hey, thank you for helping.

I did read that you took steps to get funds released sooner, even with those steps, there is still a wait time depending on the circumstances.

I take it you marked the transaction as order processed or completed (as not needing a tracking number) so PayPal will release money in 7 days. Otherwise, 21 days is the wait time. Beyond that, you’ll have to ask customer service agent to manually release it.
