Pay with Paypal link on merchant websites go to wrong PayPal account

Several websites have an option to 'Pay with Paypal', which is great because I don't have to share my card details. Super.

I have two Paypal accounts, one for the US and one for the UK. I frequently travel between the two countries, and I find it much more convenient to transact in local currency (rather than pay the not so great exchange rates).

Recently, I've been asking to 'Pay with Paypal', and when I click the Merchant-provided Link, Paypal helpfully says, "Hey, we recognise you, so are logging you right in." Paypal then invites me to confirm my purchase, but it's not the local market currency. I can't find any way to log out and log in again to the local currency PayPal account without losing the link to the merchant/transaction and starting all over.

Is there an easy way to do this that I am missing?

Welcome! Sorry you ran into a speed-bump posting on our forums, glad to see you were able to get it posted in the end. I can imagine not being able to pay with the proper PayPal can get a bit frustrating. The first recommendation I can make is to turn off Auto Login in your Security Settings. You can also remove any old saved logins in the Manage your logons section. After that, you should be prompted to login to your PayPal account (where you should be able to change the email address if needed) at every checkout as long as you don't save your login info.
