PP Balance get hold ?

Hi, i just sent payment using combine PP balance and CC but the seller said it got hold. Why my payment can be hold ? I got PP balance from refund money but it's only 1 time. Any advice how to use PP balance without getting hold again ? Thanks

Nothing to do with you, the fact its pending on the sellers account is between them and Paypal.

If its marked as completed in your Paypal account then you have paid.
Funds for new sellers are held for 21 days but released more quickly if they provide a tracking number (delivery + 1 day).

Even if the funds were withdrawn to their bank account they are still obliged to issue a refund if they lose a dispute. The hold is to protect Paypal from bad sellers that refuse, meaning Paypal may have to refund the buyer instead putting the sellers account into negative until they pay Paypal back.

If they refuse to send item/service then you could file a dispute for non receipt.
That may impact their paypal account in some way if they continue doing so.

Hi, thanks for the reply.  I send payment to him for Pre Order and Pre Order will be ended less than 7 days.  So what is the solution for this ?

You have paid, he sends your item, if not open a dispute for non receipt of item.

If the payment is delayed, i cannot Pre Order.  So how can he get the payment faster ?

And what is the difference between send money for purchase and to a friend ?  Are both covered by paypal ?

Did you read my first reply?

Your payment is NOT delayed if you paid and its completed ie not pending on YOUR paypal account.

The fact its pending on the sellers paypal account has nothing to do with you, they get their funds faster when they despatch your item and tracking shows delivery.

If not then as long as you paid via goods/services you have buyer protection, if you paid via friends/family then it was a gift of money with no buyer protection.
