Not Able To Transfer Funds into PayPal Balance

I'm not able to transfer funds into my PayPal Balance account from either my linked (and confirmed) bank accounts or debit cards. All attempts result in an error message that reads "We’re having trouble with this transaction Try again with another debit card or bank account OR the Transfer didn't go through". PayPal Customer Service is of no help. They have told me that it may be a security issue with the software and that I should wait 72 hours before trying to add money to PayPal Balance. I waited 4 days before trying again but was met with the same error messages. Any ideas on how I might be able to resolve this issue? Thanks!

I called customer service twice and none of the representatives were helpful. I tried several debit cards and bank accounts. Still can't add any funds to the account from my bank or debit card. For some odd reason, I can receive/send funds directly from the PayPal balance. Same here for nearly two months. When I rang they were not very helpful. They just kept insisting that they were aware of the issue and that we could still use paypal they would just take the money straight from the bank account. Wouldn't give a time frame for when it would be fixed. I am not happy because it keeps overdrawing my bank account because the things I have set up with paypal go out before they are listed to go at least if I know that I have funds in my paypal account I have the money to cover it. Going to try ringing again.

Same here. Been moving funds from my bank to paypal for months without issue and all the sudden I'm getting
"We're having trouble with this transaction" error messages.
Customers support has been useless.
I cannot tell if there is a technical issue on their side or if something went wrong with my account.

I am really thinking it is a PayPal issue. I have tried to transfer funds from both my bank accounts that are linked and I get the error message for both. I even uninstalled my bank accounts and reconfirmed them with PayPal. I rang again at least this time the person I spoke to was a little more willing to help even though the issue still isn't resolved. They have submitted a ticket to investigate the matter further.

I just got off the phone with a rep and they solved my issue. Apparently my account had a block for some unknown reason but it was removed. Must be some sort of technical issue on their end.
Also apparently if you call them by phone while you have ticket open in the messenger the rep will only get pinged that you are responding if the bot on the phone directs you to live chat. So if you are in the messenger with a human don't wait for hours for a response, call them by phone again and let the bot redirect you to the messenger again and the rep will respond quicker. Their infrastructure seems to have serious issues and customer support might just be over burdened.
