When I choose to pay via Paypal, it is not giving me the option to pay with my Paypal balance even though I have enough money in my balance. It is not a recurring payment/subscription. I've only recently noticed this while buying games on itch.io but on other sites the option to pay with my balance does not show up either.
Funds have to be in the correct currency and not pending.
If you have the option to select a funding source then you can do so here...
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > second down click on update next to your preferred way to pay and put a dot in the balance option.
