MY product is a digital product. Yet there is a major mistake with my paypal where you guys think I have a physical product. I will never have a tracking code to provide. This means everything time I get paid I have my money held for over 2-4+ weeks. How can I have paypal know I have a digital good?

How can I release my payment(s) on hold?
What PayPal tools are you using to accept payments? Each tool has different ways of set up for selling digital goods as opposed to physical goods and categorize your sales as digital goods.
For example, if you’re using PayPal Checkout integration, see Implement the Pay Now Experience for digitally delivered items. Another example is if you’re using classic standard PayPal buttons, you can convert the Buy Now button to Pay Now button by unchecking the requirement of shipping addresses.
You can ask in the Merchant Integration Technical Support Forums for more info.
I am skeptical that these will stop holds on digital goods payments though. As you can see in the “How can I release my payments on hold?” article, it covers digital goods and ‘services’ as well. You are still selling something and anything to do with sales are subject to these holds.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
