Lost payments. How can I get a refund?

Hi all, In May I sent payment for some services (Scuba Diver Training). There were three payments and it seems that none of them arrived at the seller but they have only just realized this. None  of the payments are shown as pending. How can I get a refund? the standard way of asking for a refund assumes that the seller has received payment, and I have received the services already. I want to get the payments refunded so that I can pay the seller. It seems that the payments must be somewhere inside the PayPal system.

If its showing as sent or completed on your paypal account then they were paid, so open a dispute for non receipt of item or service via the resolution centre in your paypal account.
