I've linked my bank account and confirmed it but when I've gone to buy something through eBay it's not showing the bank account, just a debit card. I've had to set up a new PayPal account but before that I used to use the pay after delivery option but not allowing me to do that as it's not picking up my bank account.
Yes I've had this happen a couple of times too and also I keep losing my option of being able to use pay after delivery! At the moment it's not offering it anywhere I try to use it. So annoying
that's the exact same for me! one day it shows the next it doesn't. i go to my PayPal account and it shows there as my preferred method but not when i go to use it. I did have a negative balance on my linked account tho. what would i need to do to rectify this?
If you have had a negative balance then paypal may withdraw your bank account as a payment option on your paypal account and force you to use a card instead which is safer (for paypal).

Ok thanks, weird how it works sometimes though. I’m in the process of sorting a card so I’ll do away with paypal when it comes through, they seem to be more of a hassle than help. Thanks for the feedback
Did you ever figure this out? Some days I pay fine with limited checking and then some days it doesn’t even show as an option. This is frustrating, I’ve never had negative or bounced transactions
Having the exact same problem right now and I just used my bank as a payment method successfully a few hours ago. How is this problem still happening over a year later when it's obviously been well documented. also, funny how the payment method that always ceases to be unavailable is the only option with no fees...
