Linked Credit Card fee's for purchases

I'm purchasing an item of gumtree this will be a none merchant transaction. my PayPal account is linked to my Australian credit card, will I get a huge fee form my credit card provider the interest rate is like 24.5%

Welcome to the PayPal Community Forum! I understand you're concerned about how a transaction may be charged to your card. Before you make the transaction, please make sure that if you're buying a product, it needs to be sent as Goods and Services, not Friends and Family. If you send a payment intended to purchase a good or service, but send it as Friends and Family, that payment will not qualify for PayPal's Purchase Protection and your account runs the risk of losing the option to send payments as Friends and Family in the future.
In regard to how the transaction will be charged, that's normally up to the credit card processor. It may be best to reach out to your credit card company to see what kind of transactions are charged in what way.
