LARGE TRANSACTION FEES

Im a new landlord and new to Paypal.... was charged 35.88 for a 1200.00 rent payment from my tenant. Is this a charge I can expect every month, or a one time fee as a new paypal customer? This seems excessive, and if it is a fee I will be charged with every transaction, I will not use this service any longer.

Fees are in paypals user agreement for each country.

As you have not shared your country in your profile or said in your post then I can't post the list for you.

So go to legal bottom right of this page > put in your country > user agreement > fees.
