Issue trying to process larger ( > $120 ) Payments

I'm a webmaster for a car club. We are able to process payments for items less than or equal to $120 with no issues, but when we try to process a payment for $300, the customer gets the error message, "PayPal is unable to process your payment at this time. Please try again later." Our website is built with RapidWeaver and we use the PaySnap 2 stack to provide the connection to PayPal. Any idea what could be causing this issue?

Hello @JVHP3

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you've run into some issues making payments recently. I dug up the following Help Center article to kickstart some troubleshooting: Why was my payment declined?

If you're still seeing some declines after that, please feel free to reach out to our Customer Support teams for assistance.

Good luck!

Thanks for the response, but payments being declined isn’t the issue. We are able to receive payments up to $120 (as experience has shown), but when a club member, aka customer, tries to process a payment for $300, they receive a screen message stating “Things don’t appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later.” I have worked with the customer through several scenarios and when the payment is a lower amount, the customer is taken directly to PayPal to complete the transaction, but with the higher amount, they get blocked by the message above. I have also examined our website settings in RapidWeaver and there isn’t anything that would prevent larger payments from being processed.
