I am unable to transfer money from my bank into PayPal

I am trying to transfer some money from my bank account into PAYPAL but every single thig I do is met with errors. This is driving me crazy. Such a simple thing to do on paper. But no, have to get driven to tears because of constant errors when my details are correct. What is going on here????

I go through all these steps, this time I get this message "This account needs a little help to link it. Contact us and we can help with that, or you can link a different account." When I click on the link it takes me to the so-called help center where there is no info. 'm getting really tired and really angry.
It just makes life so much more difficult.

Also, I try to add my bank account or add a card either. It says it can't verify me.

You have a UK business account so are you a registered business?
Is the bank account name the same as your paypal account name?
Does the card billing address match the address on your paypal account?
Are the bank and cards all UK registered?

I have a business account as that is what I was advised to open previously.
I have checked my details over and over, and my address is right. everything is as it was. it shouldn't be this hard to transfer some money from my bank into my paypal. I shouldn't have to waste hours every day trying to make something work with errors at every turn. if paypal didn't have a monopoly I would shut the account down in a heartbeat. What you fail to understand is that I needed this to work days ago, I certainly don't want a curt and dismissive attitude. If the help was any good it might be a different story but it's garbage. Like every other aspect of this site. It's designed to keep you going around and around until you're forced to give up completely which is what I'm being forced to do now...

However, certainly not going to give up my time anymore trying to help you so bye then.

Please take a look at this Help Center article that gives some troubleshooting items to check when you see an issue linking a bank. They might help you solve the problem right off. If not, contacting Customer Service is the way to go for further account-specific troubleshooting. The link that sent you to Contact PayPal was sending you to the Help and Contact page. The contact information would be at the bottom of that page. There's also some information about options for contacting PayPal in this Help Center article as well.

I'm just banging my head against the wall.
I've had flue for most of the week and I no longer have the energy or patience to work out why I cannot simply link my bank account. I've even had to reset my password several times which is beyond confusing. This has worked in the past, I've even written to my bank who tell me there's no problem at their end. Perhaps I should make a new account.
I really don't know. As I say, if paypal wasn't so ubiquitous now I could simply stop using it.
