How do I stop automatic payments coming out of my account?

I used services some time ago and cancelled it.
But after almost 2 years they have somehow activated the automatic payment and I cannot cancelle it. And now my account is negative even though Paypal said they cancelled it last month but allowed a payment this month.
Please help

Check if you had a subscription set up and if so cancel it.
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''
Advice is voluntary.

Thank you so much for replying, So I had checked this section before and none are active, they are all inactive yet you can see where I have been charged many times.
I have reached out to PayPal to dispute this a fraud and they said it was not and closed the case, I have also reached out to the person via email and asked them to refund me the money and stop the payment but had no reply.
I had to change my wallet detail to an account that had no money in the hope it would force PayPal to cancel the payments, this worked for 1 month but like i said this month PayPal let the payment go through and put my account in negative.
I reached out again to the person via Twitter claiming the payment and asked them to cancel it, which they did but for some reason, the payment still came out.

Please reach out to the merchant directly, and request they cancel the Billing Agreement on their side. Cancelling the payment on PayPal does not cancel your contract with the merchant, and they may still request payment on a monthly basis to fulfill the contract.
