Cannot process payment

Greetings, 

I am located in Canada. When I try to send a payment to someone in America, I am getting the following message "The country you're trying to send money to can't receive this payment." How can this be resolved?

Welcome! Thanks for visiting the PayPal Community Forum. I'm sorry to hear you've run into some issues sending money to a friend located in the US. You should absolutely be able to send funds from Canada to the US. I would recommend double-checking with the receiver to make sure their account is registered properly and doesn't have any limitations present on it.
