Can't reactivate autopayments

I cancelled autopayments in paypal for a service I was subscribed to, now I want to reactivate it again but I get a Failed to process payment Code 2070. I've gone through the vendor to resubscribe and that's the error I keep getting. 

I've tried going to my Paypal profile, checking the inactive payments and trying to remove the vendor from there to reactivate but I don't have that option at all.

I understand that you are trying to activate a subscription. Please be advised that once you've cancelled or deactivated the billing agreement, you won't be able to re-activate it again from PayPal account. In this case, you will have to reach out the Merchant directly and then let them know that you would like to have the subscription again from them. I am sure the merchant should be able to help you with this.
