Can't Use Bank Account For Steam

I tried using paypal to purchase steam dlcs for train simulator classic. I don't have my pp acc linked to steam since it's no longer an option when linking a payment method to steam, so I have to use paypal as a check out option. When I got to purchase two TSC dlcs, I make sure to uncheck the save payment method box when checking out. When the paypal menu comes up, I don't see my bank account as a payment option. My account's not limited, and I checked with my bank and everything's fine. I also contacted PP and Steam. Given the runaround. So idk what to do. So, I check the box to save my payment method. Sure enough, my bank pops up as a payment option. So, I get the total for the two TSC dlcs, and when I try to purchase them, the transaction is declined. I tried this several times. No dice. What is going on?

Also, there isn't a "My Paypal" option either. Just "PayPal"

Hello @itstypicalrail

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you're running into some roadblocks purchasing some DLCs from Steam. It sounds like a few issues may be happening here. The first thing I'd recommend is making sure you have a backup funding source like a debit / credit card on your PayPal account as well as your bank account number. That way, the payment should not have an issue being sent instantly as long as the funds are there.

In regard to the options showing or not showing, that may resolve themselves as well if you add another funding source on your account. But I'd still recommend clearing your browser's cache, cookies, and history to clear out any potential issues with your browser.

I hope that helps. Good luck and game on!
