Bank Transfer to a Closed Account

Hello! 

I recently transferred some money from PayPal to a bank account that I had closed a week prior. Will this be rejected by my bank and sent back to PayPal? What actions should I take to ensure my money stays in my possession?

If the funds fail to transfer then they should bounce back to your paypal account balance, allow 14 business days and if no sign contact customer services for a trace?

Can I ask what ever happened?? The same thing happened to me. I forgot to delete my old bank account and I ended up transferring my money to that account….it’s still the same bank but my bank got bought and a few things changed including my routing number

The money was given back to my PayPal account and then I was able to select the right account later.
