Anticipated refund

I have been issued a refund for a purchase originating with paypal credit. No one from paypal knows anything about paypal credit and no one from paypal credit knows anything about paypal. Synchrony bank employees, bottom (outsourced cust serv reps) to top (accnt managers) are rude and dismissive and repeat from a script, apparently. I get enough of that from politicians. I've been with paypal for 15 years and I'm closing my account. It's there any other payment source like paypal. I think venmo is owned by paypal.

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you've been running into some issues with a recent refund. Normally, refunds will go back to the original funding source. If it's going back to PayPal Credit, or other outside funding sources, it may take 2-3 business days to complete.
