I agree with everything that has been said.

I have orders every few days, I always found the shipping feature in paypal to be very easy and fast.

Today's experience with eBay shipping was horrible.  I already sent an email for whatever good it will do.

There was nothing wrong with the shipping features Paypal offered.

It was confusing and not very efficient.  If this is how it is going to be, I am glad I found out before the holiday season.

This will give me time to switch to another service.

the ebay receipt is horrible, impersonal, and I am not clear on how I am suppose to track all of this when the information is not tied to a customer name....HORRIBLE!

PayPal needs to see what happened to NetFlix when their customers decided they were not going to take it...a huge loss in customers, revenue and market share followed.

Hey Paypal, dont fix what was not broken.

I agree, but your last line reads, Hey, PayPal if it's not broke, don't fix it. PayPal had nothing to do with it. It's eBay at their usual idiotic idealisms. I HERALD GOOD TIDINGS, THOUGH> Go through Pay Pal Direcctly, and you can still use the services. It seems that because of people voicing their opinions about eBays Stench program for postal, that it has been given to choice, now! THEIR IS POWER IN MANY!!! Yes, once again....eBay is NOT VICTORIUOS IN THIS ONE! Keep voicing and standing tall for what is only right for eBay's SELLERS, THEIR MONEY MAKERS!!! WITHOUT SELLERS, WHAT WOULD THE BUYERS BE BUYING??????Smiley Very Happy

Ebay doesn't seem to be able to run eBay.  Soooooo many con artists on there it is ridiculous.

I hate what they have done with the shipping! I have always done it through PayPal and would like to continue to pay it the way I was. Right now I have a dispute and can't even find the address of the person to send the items back.  The have the name of the city I ship from wrong. The option I have list for my international shipping isn't even available to select on this new system. Thanks Ebay! Are idiots at the helm? I am going to let my items on Ebay finish and find a new venue. This stinks!

I can no longer print EMS International labels now that eBay took over.  I've wasted over an hour trying to print a label that would have taken two minutes with the old PayPal system.  From what I read on the eBay Shipping Forum, this is affecting everyone on a Mac and is a know issue.

Every hear the old saying: "if it ain't broke, don't fix it?".  eBay and it's adopted child PayPal seem to be going in the wrong direction.  So frustrating!

I want to encourage all of you that have issues to continue airing your comments via this post. Eventually, the problem will be resolved. I think it is quite amusing that on the eBay page to ship, it asks "What can we do to improve this page?" I chuckle thinking, "Have ya gotta month?, it would take that long to describe the ways to improve this page!" I agree....if it ain't broke, DON'T FIX IT!

We did try the "ship now" link - without success. We tried different computers - no go. Our attempts were always initiated throught the normal "Log In" or "Sign In" to PayPal method. Finally, we closed our browser, cleared out all traces of being on PayPal that day, and opened up Firefox and immediately clicked the "Tools" and clicked "Start Private Browsing".

THAT, worked! We were staring at the normal interface, and able to print sensible labels with pertinent information.

Whether this was an experiment, a glitch, or a scam - we do not know. All we know is that we found a way to work around it.

Would be delighted if a PayPal representative would address this. A few of us have posted about it - thousands must have be daunted by it, and frustrated beyond measure!

Hate it? I think Hate is not a strong enough word to describe my first experience with "Ebay" shipping as a longtime Paypal shipper. How could Paypal make such changes without any warning or input from customers. I am not an Fbay seller, so why would they think its OK to make me interface with Ebay just to print a lousy shipping label? I spent several hours trying to print a label and all I got was a spinning hourglass. Now my customers are delayed in receiving what they paid for. Paypal seems to be begging for me to migrate to Google Checkout since they have broken the shipping option. Two calls to Paypal have resulted in a major waste of my time and no solutions. I will try the Firefox patch suggested below. Isn't that a shame that we are reduced to essentially spoofing the Paypal site from Firefox just to print a shipping label. Goid work Paypal!

Complete INSANITY from PayPal!  This Shipping change is a COMPLETE DISASTER.  We use PayPal as credit card processor for our own online store.  We haven't had an eBay sale since July!!!  Now we're being forced to go through eBay horrible printing interface for NON-EBAY orders?  The executives who did this must be FIRED.  This is a nightmare and a pathetically misguided decision.  And to add insult to injury this monstrosity was implemented with ZERO NOTICE to hundreds of thousands of NON-EBAY merchants and sellers.  PATHETIC!!!

Tried to print multiple labels with no luck at all.
(1) Interface is inferior to previous forms.

(2) Return address is wrong.

(3) Forced me to re-log in to shiptrack.ebay.something and then asked me to enter a new credit card????

(4) Then it timed out and when I tried to go back I had to log in again to PayPal

WHAT???

Tried it with several different orders with the exact same result.  Went ahead and printed directly from USPS site.  This simple process took us 5 times longer than it used to.

Called PayPal this morning and confirmed that they will NOT go BACK to the old Shipping Labels interface that worked almost perfectly and seamlessly for 8+ years.  That sealed it for us!

(1) We're doing everyhting possible to program our online store to use GOOGLE CHECKOUT (or Authorize.net or any other payment processor if needed) going forward.  As soon as it's implemented and tested, we will STOP using PayPal to process payment from our store.  I don't care how much it costs us or how long it takes to make the changes, but I'm on a mission to get it done no matter what.  Hopefully by next all new orders processed from our website go through another payment processor.

(2) Since we realized (from reading forum posts from hundreds of upset customers) that eBay the parent company of PayPal did this to benefit themselves and completely ignored its customers (the main source of revenue for its business) we went ahead today and also CANCELED our eBay Store as a form of protest.  We've had it being insulted, ignored, and mistreated by this company.

ENOUGH is ENOUGH!!!

The fact that Ebay/Paypal would cut off shipping with no advance warning and with no concern how severly this would affect their non-Ebay merchant customers speaks volumes about what they think of their customers.  The fact that their tech support didn't know anything about it speaks volumes about their incredibly poor internal communications and what a poorly run comapny they are.
