First, I apologize if this topic has already been covered. I did a quick search, but didn't see it.
I verified and added $103 to paypal from my checking account with a transfer initiated on 12/30/11. The funds were in my paypal account on 1/3/12, and I made a payment that day with the added funds. I checked my checking account this morning, and I have two identical charges: 1) on 1/3, it shows a transfer of funds to paypal; 2) on 1/4, it shows an echeck from paypal for the identical amount. However, I do not have any more funds in my account.
I'm a paypal novice, but I'm guessing that when you have a linked bank account, you don't need to manually add funds to paypal when you make a payment. Is this correct? If so, will the second withdrawal from my bank account show up in my paypal account, or is the payment going to be made twice? I'm trying to figure out if I'm going to need to submit some sort of claim, or if in the next couple of days my account will again reflect $103?
