pending date has past for echeque

I received an echeque last sunday, it still shows as uncleared but also says pending until 15 august, which has past. What's going on?

The pending date is just an estimate as differing banks have differing clearance times and it also depends on what day of the week the payment is initially made eg if a weekend may be longer.
