I'm not a seller!

I recieve regular payments from a friend on paypal, the first couple were sent through no problem, but the latest has had a fee taken and is 'pending'. I'm not  a selling anything it's a personal transaction. I'm guessing it's because this time I sent a request for the money when usually it's sent directly to me. How do I stop being considered a seller and just get the money straight away and without incurring fees? I'm happy for it if I actually start a commercial enterprise here but as it is I didn't expect any charge or delay as that's what the information says for personal transatctions.

Thanks in advance.

If you request "payment" then you are being paid and you are a seller.

If its just a mate sending you funds then they need to use the friends / family option when they send the funds.

As long as they don't fund it with a card then there is no fee.
