In general, most virtual cards would not be accepted by the PayPal Here Card Reader. This is because the device only accepts cards that have the Visa, MasterCard or AMEX logo. However, you could try to take payments using a virtual card as it depends on the card itself and not on the reader whether the payment goes through or not.
