API Username confusion

Am confused how to change the API Username

I have a store on my website which requires API details

Everytime I try to create an API signature it uses an email address that I do not want to associate with my current website.

How do I change the username email address for the API signature

Hi sdrj, 

It sounds like you may need to go in and edit your API credentials before creating the signature. 

Please follow the steps below. 

1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your Business account.
2. Click ‘Profile’ near the top of the page.
3. Select 'My selling preferences.'
4. Click 'Update' beside ‘API Access.’ 

This should resolve it for you. If this continues please contact us directly by clicking on the contact us link at the bottom of every PayPal page and choosing the phone option.
