Annoys me when buyers can't read auctions properly.
I have had buyers pay PayPal for a collect item.
I refund them with the message that as there is no seller protection for items that are collected that I can only aaccept cash on collection.
Then if they don't want to go ahead, I offer to an underbidder as a second chance offer or re list.

seems bad that theres no protection for seller , if buyer collects item .
feel bad doing a refund but can not afford to let item get collected and then money taken back a day later .

But how can there be seller protection for items collected?
The only way PayPal can tell if an item was delivered to the buyer is with a tracking number and you can't do that with a collected item.

Because eBay auctions have to allow PayPal.
