Back in May I tried to sell a camera on Ebay, I did sell it but never got paid for it. I had to go to work in the NWT for a month and I guess I realized the camera and forgot about it. There was no internet where I was at and when I had returned home I found I had a dispute filed against me for non receipt of item. I contacted the buyer and explained it to him and he was fine with it. Ebay or PayPal has temporarily withdrawn the funds. How do I get them back??

If you haven't responded to the claim yet, you'll want to go ahead and ship the item out to the buyer.
When you do, make sure that you use a service that provides a tracking number that can be traced online. That way PayPal can monitor it, make sure the buyer gets it, and then release the funds back to you once it arrives.
If the payment you received was $250 CAD or more, you must also include signature confirmation that will be viewable online.
If the dispute has already closed and the buyer has been refunded, don't ship the item. Reach out to the buyer and see if they're willing to pay again, or re-sale the item to another individual.
Thanks!
Adrian

No problem! Signature confirmation is basically, once it shows delivered online, it shows that it was signed for (and usually who signed for it) online as well. It's necessary on larger purchases to remain protected.
Make sure you respond to the buyer and the claim with your tracking number!

If the item has been delivered, I would recommend sending an email to the buyer or via the dispute/claim and asking them to close it out.
