I was contacted about a lady interested in buying my motorcycle yesterday, she said she was out of town and wanted to pay for it and get someone to pick it up. She asked me to set up a PayPal account. I thought it was suspicious that she would pay for the vehicle and not see it yet.
Anyway she said she would send the $. I got an email from paypal saying the funds were deposited but a hold had been placed on it until $1300 CAN could be sent to a shipping company in the UK...via Western Union, then I would get the rest of the $ owed...
Obviously a huge scam, I reported it to paypal and have heard nothing back! not impressed!
