When sending money to a friend, do I still have 180 days to reverse the payment

I want to send funds to a friend in another country, will I still have the option of 180 days to reverse the payment via the resolution centre

You can never just reverse a payment.

Paypal covers you for non receipt of item OR item received but not as described. However even that has terms and conditions which you need to read up on in paypals buyer protection policy.

Secondly if you are using the friends/family option you would negate that buyer protection completely as it does not cover that type of payment.
