The North Face refuse to refund me after parcel went missing

About two months ago I bought 2 jackets from the North Face it worth £500 in total, according to their return policy I can return for a full refund within the next 2 months from the date I received my purchase. So I decided to return them using their delivery service “Yodel” tracking number is 886Y41921075A064, so now the parcel went missing and I contacted the north face they said after investigation they have decided not to refund me without stating any reason whatsoever, since I paid with PayPal, I also contacted PayPal, my bank and Yodel, none of them take responsibility, since PayPal took money directly from my bank account, therefore I am not eligible for buyer protection nor a charge back from my bank. PayPal said I am not eligible for their buyer protection either because apparently the buyer has to contact them before returning the item within the first 2 weeks and have to prove them the item is not as described. I then contacted the financial ombudsman to review their terms and conditions, still waiting for their reply. I have also reported to the police fraud team. Therefore I am here to report a huge scam the North Face “return department” is running in the UK (probably worldwide). I have read countless complaints about the same thing happened to so many people with slightly different details. Yet no one has done anything about this for years, if anyone who has the same experience please contact me on WhatsApp (preferably) or call, my number is [Removed], I am going to start a campaign for people who have had the same experience with the North Face return department as well as reporting it to the BBC and CNN, if they are actively scamming people for a large amount of money I believe there are much more behind what we see on the surface. Imagine more and more big cooperations take a few steps further to can scam money from ordinary people and there’s nothing we can do to put things right, this is terrifying and I am sick of it! So please come forward we should try our best, make some noise, get our money back and put things right! If anyone has any idea that could help my situation, please contact me, I would really appreciate it. Thankyou. I had the same problem last year and have seen multiple people online experience the same. Did you have any luck with a refund? They are super scammy, especially for such a big company. Your phone number has been removed by PayPal so not sure how I can contact you directly.

The same thing is happening to me!!! I returned a £315 coat and they claim that a completely different item is in the box (different product and different size) so are now refusing my refund. I have asked for them to investigate further but they are telling me that there's nothing they can do and they're sorry it's not the outcome I had hoped for??? Did you find a resolution at all? What did you do?

Hi Kai, I am having the exact same problem with north face. They have been doing this to 2 of my returns which are from 2 completely different orders. Was this resolved for you? Have you had any luck? I am really worried, that they've been scamming me and that I will loose more than £500. Thanks

It sounds like you have all returned your items but have not received a refund, and I'm sorry to hear that. If you returned the item prior to opening a dispute with PayPal, you may still be eligible for a Credit Not Processed Billing Dispute. You can learn how to file this type of dispute on our Help Center here. When opening this type of dispute, please include documentation that shows the merchant promised you a refund upon the return of the item. You'll also want to include the shipping address to which they advised you to return the item, as well as your return tracking information.
