Scammed cancelled! Got through reservationcounter.com hotel cancelled I've been refused a refund

I booked a room with Quality Suites with online booking fee of 14.99 +148.00 for the room total $163.00. The hotel cancelled my reservation before I even got to the hotel because of a past issue I had staying there before. The told me to call "Choice" hotels about my refund. Choice hotels told me to talk to the GM of the hotel GM told me Quality Suites isn't responsible for my refund. A 3rd party is responsible a company called "ReservationCounter.com after talking to them for over a month back and forth they've told me they're not refunding my money because reservation was cancelled and their policy says you can't cancel an already booked and paid for room and get a refund. BUT I DIDN'T CANCEL IT THE HOTEL CANCELLED THE RESERVATION! I live on a fixed income. PayPal closed my claim over a month and a half ago. Am I just **bleep** for something that I had absolutely no control over?

I am so sorry to hear what has happened. I know this must be frustrating. I understand you opened a PayPal dispute, which has been closed. 

 

When a dispute is closed, you have 10 days to appeal the decision. If you don't agree with the decision, it is best to submit an appeal as soon as possible.
