Paypal unable to protect customers

As many other members state Paypal is unable to protect customers.Why should we use PayPal if there is no buyer protection from them .I had a case recently and they asked me to return broken pieces to a forwarding company in order to get my money back .They are unable to protect their customers and they have teached their stuff to talk to people like robots.This is not a professional manner but a company who works like mafia to protect fraud.Sorry for my words but this is the truth and if we as customers do not do anything to bring them to their senses they will harm other people. Why should I contact PayPal when they tell me to start an issue with my bank card institution.I use them for buyer protection wich is none existent and I do not trust them anymore. They are a failure at all means

It was never my intent to have someone pay anything other than cash for the junk vehicle, i only asked 600 and was being nice and said i would accept 400 only if it were paid via pay pal . the guy was supposedly 100 miles away in Nashville and wanted me to hold it for him to eventually come and look at it. I had multiple buyers wanting that junker for some reason. I was being hounded by this idiot and i just wanted it gone as quick as possible. Then it took almost a month if i remember correctly for him to finally come get it. The junker didn't even have a title. And was advertised as such, no brakes, doesn't run, no title and rusty. I knew i should have just told that con to **bleep** off. He had an obvious Islander accent and the majority of them i have met are very dishonest and always trying some kind of con. But i went the extra mile to not stereotype and it only caused a lot of problems, lost rent money from renters, in the way, and now it seems paypal is happy to help the mystery financial institution steal money from me with absolutely no explanation besides he claims he did not receive an item i was supposed to ship. No idea where that has any merit because there never was anything at all specified , i simply got his email address from him and sent a money request. I don't think I put any notes on the request. So in theory i guess anyone can pay money owed to someone or send money to someone and then make some **bleep** up and get it back?

Yes I too have used PayPal for a very long time. I recently made some purchases. The place that I purchased items from removed my account claiming some bs. Pages and pages or evidence showing I am the victim and they still sided with the seller. On another instance for eBay seller sold item that was NOT AT ALL what I got. They wouldn’t fix it so I contacted PayPal. They sided with the seller. They have not protected one cent of mine as a buyer because they don’t make anything from us. They make money from the seller. I’m going to stop using PayPal. Over 25 years I have used PayPal and they now don’t back you at all. Maybe a class action should be organized.

In one of my cases I bought an engine for an older rc car. I was restoring it. The pictures showed a great engine, had no damage to it and looked clean. I get this thing and the kid drilled the carb hole out to accept a larger carb, heat dissipation find broken off, and the crank shaft was cut. When I contacted them they said that is not what I sent you blah blah. And for me I always record a video when I open something from eBay now. It was what they sent. Anyhow 2 weeks he won’t budge so I eBay involved along with PayPal since they are now separate (have been for quite a while now). PayPal said I had to ship it back, I said that’s fine I don’t need nor want this junk I need a label I’m not losing more money to send this back. They wouldn’t send me a label so I paid the 18$ to ship it. Fast forward 3 weeks they have already had their crap back, PayPal had tracking info and they see that it was delivered to the seller. They closed my case in favor of the seller. Reason? We have evidence that you received the said item. I tried to appeal it and include tons more info and pics and including return shipment information. Denied we have evidence you received the item you bought. Are you ()&,@8!( kidding me!? PayPal is a joke they only make money from sellers. However without BUYERS they won’t make $h1T off of the sellers. They need to re analyze their priorities. I still feel a class action lawsuit is due for this bs. Their buyer protection doesn’t mean crap.

Be very carefull of paypal.  My 90 yr old mother was on my computer and she was scammed.  My cell phone began warning me of the scams, I immediatly called paypal and told them my computer was comprimised and told them to not let any transactions go thru.  I was told they could shut down my account but I would have to resubmitt my licence and I said that is fine.  They did not do this.  Two fraudulant transactions were charged to my account I disputed them but they denied me.  total of arox 450.00 dollars.  I am going to contact the mass attorney general but don't know what that will do.   I have been telling everyone about paypal to stay away.  Use them for small transactions only!!  Beware!!

Beware of PayPal  My 90 yr old mother was on my computer when she was scammed.  I started receiving multiple warnings on my cell phone.  I immediatly called paypal and told them what was happening.  I told them do not let any transactions go thru they said they could do that but they would have to shut down account and I would have to resubmit my licese.  I said fine.  They did not do this I had 2 fraudulant charges placed on my account for a total of aprox 450.00.  I disputed it telling them what happened but they denied me.  Only use paypal for small transactions.   Do not keep a large amount of money with them.  I am going to contact the mass attorney general but don't know if that will help.   Warn everyone about paypal
