My account has been permanently blocked, although I managed to complete only two transactions after registration: received a transfer of $54 and withdrew $10 to my personal card. How can I resolve this issue? PayPal support sends me template emails and does not respond to my messages. Please explain what I violated by transferring $10 to my card and what the violation is.

Interested in the experience of community members in withdrawing blocked funds after 180 days of suspension.

P.S. It's very unfortunate that this happened. When I learned that PayPal is now available in Ukraine, I was excited. However, when I encountered the service, it turned out that it's hard to call it a 'service.' There's no proper support, and they don't provide a reason when they block your account. No one responds to emails, but they didn't forget to lock the funds.

Even if the issue is resolved, I will be hesitant to use such an unreliable and unpredictable service. I'm fortunate that I didn't deposit a large sum into the account.

I will definitely recommend everyone to avoid using this service, based on my own experience. Especially considering that there are many alternatives worldwide that I am quite satisfied with and where there is constant support.

What the payment you received for? Were you selling something or was it just a gift of money sent?

I received a transfer of $55 from an individual's PayPal account. I withdrew it to my MasterCard bank card, which is registered in my name. Naturally, when I registered my PayPal account, I provided the maximum amount of relevant information about myself to safeguard against such situations. All the details I provided in the account match those I provided when opening a bank account, including the card number. Therefore, I rule out the possibility that I was blocked for transferring to someone else's card.

However, since they do not provide the reason for the block, I have no ideas about why this could have happened.

I understand the logic when companies act in this way, meaning they block your account if they see something suspicious. For example, Facebook does the same. However, there is always an investigation following the block, and if you are not at fault, your account will be unblocked.

But unfortunately, here is a different approach - to block, not to explain anything, and not to investigate anything. I imagine how many users have lost their accounts simply because PayPal deemed that they violated something.

No, I haven't sold anything to anyone. It was a transfer of personal funds from my acquaintance.

Moreover, it's strange to suspect me of commercial activity based on a single payment)
