I would like to know how Paypal would handle a significantly not described item that is missing 2 main features (touch screen and carplay) that they are now selling for more than $100 extra. This was not clearly marked on the website when I purchased the item and I confirmed with the vendor via email that all items after August 20th would have carplay and touch screen. Which i've come to find is NOT true.
Since the 15th of September, the seller added an option to their website with the carplay feature as a YES or NO, I documented as much as I could and matched the SKU of the item they gave me to the one they labelled as the no carplay/no touch version.
I sent an email to the seller and am waiting until Wednesday for them to respond to me before escalating.
That said I'm worried. I used to trust paypal however based on all the horror stories I've seen on here I am wondering if I have a case or if paypal will just immediately reject my claim and I'm forced to do a chargeback with my card.
In which case I will probably never use paypal again as they used to be known for their buyer protection and that's what I used them for in my online buying.
Thank you for helping and wish me luck....

Hey trying to avoid sounding like one of those auto-responders but I'm pretty sure that is next to impossible these days. On that, I did want to come back here and say that my item was refunded. Faith restored ! Thank you to everyone involved!
