Sold two TCG items for a total of $5950. These items were brand new and factory-sealed and still inside the original boxes. Packaged extremely carefully and included insurance and signature confirmation. Both packages were delivered on time and signed for. 5 days later, the Buyer opened a SNAD case with his CC company. The buyer never reached out to me during this process. I provided all documents to PayPal—texts between me and the buyer. Pictures of the items sold and their condition are clearly visible. Tracking with signature confirmation.

PayPal stated the following:

"Case status: Under review with buyer's financial institution

After reviewing the info we received, we were unable to cover this payment and have debited $5,950.00 USD from your PayPal balance. We’ll attempt to recover this amount from the buyer’s financial institution. If we’re able to recover the payment, the money will be credited back to your balance. It could take up to 75 days for us to get a resolution."

PayPal refunded the Customer and I was not given a chance to recover my product. The Buyer is now non responsive. I am out the money and the product. Please help. What are my options?

The chargeback process is external to the PayPal system. The buyer's credit card issuer grants its members specific consumer protection which PayPal has no authority to replace or reduce. If a PayPal user initiates a chargeback with their credit card company Paypal have no way of stopping the claim and the card company makes all the decisions.

If the card issuer grants the case in the buyer's favour, Paypal will review the transaction on your PayPal account to see if it is eligible for Seller Protection.
