How unsafe it is to give someone you don't know paypal email for them to send you money?

Weird questions here, there's this dude on Instagram that wanted some feet pics in exchange for 1000$. I sent him one thinking he would respond and now he says he'll pay me. I'm obviously 99% sure this is some sort of scam. But this 1% percent chance of having 1000$ is juicy haha. The question is how unsafe it is to give someone you paypal email/phone number? Thank you very much

As long as you are not giving them your password or any code paypal sends you to verify a payment then you are fine.
The whole point of paypal is folks send funds to your paypal email address or phone number.
However be very careful this doesn't descend into a scam if he asks you to do more things.
Advice is voluntary.
